Thank you for your interest in the Songs Inspired by Literature (SIBL) Project - Chapter One and Chapter Two CDs. The SIBL Project brings musicians and authors together in support of adult and family literacy.

How can the CD be used?

Curriculum: Use the CDs as a lead-in to discussions about the featured books and about literature in general and how it inspires a person's own life possibilities - READ a letter from a program that had SUCCESS with this!!!

Gift: Give the CDs as a 'thank you' to tutors, learners, and supporters of your programs

Outreach to Media / Learners: Use the CDs as calling cards to start a dialogue about literacy issues with journalists and the general public

Fundraising Tool: Your volunteers, learners and tutors can be "ambassadors for literacy". The Girl Scouts have been doing this for years! By selling the CDs and at their jobs and in their communities, they not only raise funds for their literacy programs, but they help spread the word about literacy and the promotion of 16 great books!

Earn $10 for each CD sold; engage the public in a grassroots campaign.

We sell the CDs in packs of 16 -
Our point-of-purchase boxes
that we provide hold that amount.

The price for each CD is $5
so each pack is $80 (+ $10 shipping and handling).
If you choose to use the CD as a fundraiser
You can sell each CD for $15.
You'll bring in $240 - $80 investment =
$160 profit per box of 16 CDs.
